Untuk memeriahkan HUT Republik Indonesia yang ke-79, Organisasi Siswa Intra Sekolah SMA Hang Tuah 1 Surabaya (OSIS SMAHASA) menyelenggarakan Lomba 17 Agustusan. Lomba-lomba yang diadakan antara lain :
- Lomba Baris Berbaris
- Lomba Flashmob
- Lomba Capit Bola
- Lomba Tarik Tambang
- Lomba Estafet Kardus
- Lomba Futsal Kerucut
Lomba-lomba tersebut dilaksanakan pada Rabu – Kamis, tanggal 14-15 Agustus 2024.
Selain Lomba di atas, juga ada kegiatan Jalan sehat yang akan dilaksanakan pada Jum’at, 16 Agustus 2024 mendatang.
